Olney Allotment

Olney has an area of allotments situated at Near Town Gardens, on the eastern side of the town.

There are over a hundred plots that are very popular with residents.

From 1st April 2017 the allotment rent is £3.20 per pole. With the average plot being 5 poles (the traditional method of measuring a plot) the annual charge would be £16.

To see if there are any plots available, to be put on the waiting list and for further information, please contact the Deputy Town Clerk on 01234 711679 or deputy@olneytowncouncil.gov.uk

Each year the Allotment Association award the Sidney Dix cup to the best allotment holder.

A useful document on looking after an allotment has been produced by DGLG Allotments: a plotholder’s guide

Application forms are available from the office or can be downloaded by clicking here and a copy of the Allotment Tenancy Rules
