Olney Neighbourhood Plan

Thursday 6th July has now been confirmed as the date of the local referendum on the Olney Neighbourhood Plan. The referendum will be conducted in the same way as local elections ie residents will vote at their usual polling stations, polling cards will be issued, postal votes available. Anybody registered to vote in the parish of Olney will be entitled to vote. A simple majority of votes (over 50% of those voting) in favour of your Neighbourhood Plan is sufficient for it to succeed.

The question that will be asked on the ballot paper will be:

"Do you want Milton Keynes Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Olney to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

Details of the plan can be found on the Olney Plan Website
