Whirly Pit roundabout works
Message from Milton Keynes Council Highways Engineer: I can confirm that the works at Whirly Pit Roundabout are due to begin next Monday 22ndAugust. We have agreed a new programme with our contractor to minimise disruption to motorists within the area as much as possible. Also we would like to take advantage of the school holidays when there are lower volumes of traffic.
The roadworks for the proposed improvements will start from 22 August 2022 and should take around 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting. To enable us to carry out the works safely road closures will be required
Drift Way will only be closed once Warrington Road is open.
The rest of the works will be carried out with temporary lights Mon-Fri9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Access to businesses and properties will be always maintained.
