Allotments

Olney has an area of allotments situated at Near Town Gardens, on the eastern side of the town. There are over a hundred plots that are very popular with local residents.

From 1st April 2019 the allotment rent is £3.40 per pole, this is the traditional method of measuring a plot, also known as a rod or a perch and measures 5.5yards. 

With the average plot being 5 poles, the annual charge would be £17.00.

Each year the Allotment Association award the Sidney Dix cup to the best allotment holder.
